Along with her Wits Undergraduate Best Thesis Award for Rehabilitation for the patient with Acute Myocardial Infarction Melanie has done numerous international post graduate courses including Ergonomics Certification with OSHA USA HSE London ACPOHE UK, including Maitland Spinal and Peripheral Mobilization and Manipulation (Switzerland), Barnes Myofascial Release (New York) Sharman Treatment of Movement Related Pain Syndromes (USA) Richardson-Hodges New Advances in Spinal Stabilization (Aus.).

 

A member of the American College of Sports Medicine. She is highly experienced in Manual Therapy, Massage, Electrotherapy, Exercise Program Design, Gym Guidance, Computer Ergonomics and Acute and Chronic Pain Management.

 

She has run a successful physiotherapy and Ergonomics practice in Johannesburg South Africa for many years consulting to medical Professionals, the lay public and many Corporate Clients.
